Some FAQ that we need to take care of.
Returns
Items should be returned within 7 working days after delivery. All transport fees for items returned will be for your account. Returned Items will be quality checked and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
Prices
The prices are excluding of vat.
We require a 50% deposit before starting with production.
Orders
Our MOQ is 12 items per order. This means any 12 items on our wholesale list.
Shipping
We use courier guy for shipping in South Africa.
We use various companies to ship abroad.
We can use your shipping company for collection.
The timeline is 3-5 days in South Africa, and 5-7 days abroad depending on the shipping company.
The lead time is 4-6 weeks for orders that the order from the available colours. If we don’t have the colour available we have to order and then you can add 4 weeks to the order.
We don’t carry stock. All the products are made per order.
We will send you a tracking nr ones the package is collected
The cost of the shipping will be determined by the size and weight of the package. The price will be given before the shipment is send.
We do not do consignment. All orders must be paid in cash or by card.
What is AfricanOstrix Wholesale?
AfricanOstrix Wholesale is our direct to trade/business customer offering that allows you to buy our full product range direct from us at wholesale pricing.

Do you have a store we can visit
We are a online business
Can we receive samples before making a order?
Yes you can. We will send you the samples. We also need the samples back please other wise you will receive a invoice for the samples that you need to pay. If the samples get damage while in your care you will also be send a invoice for the damaged sample.
We can also arrange a meeting to discuss any business relationship and we will bring our samples with. We love that our clients become our friends. We would love to meet you.
Can I cancel my order?
Once you paid you 50% deposit there is no turning back. But if you don’t pay your deposit you are more than welcome to cancel your order.
Where do you get your leather from?
We mainly get our leather from a tannery in Citrusdal. All our products we get from suppliers in South Africa. We are proud to say that we support local

Warrantee
We have a warrantee on our products. If we made the mistake we will fix it or replace it. If you or one of you clients damage the products we will try our very best to assist you in fixing it.
How do I take care of my products
We have take care instructions on our website. But in short.
NO direct sun light or any light directly on the products.
You can’t remove pen marks from ostrich leather.
Don’t let your clients touch the pocket with dirty or sweaty hands we would be able to remove it marks from the leather.
Keep in a dry area.
